Q & A with David Baggs

January 20, 2025

We recently asked David Baggs from Global GreenTag two questions.

Q1: How can green interiors drive social change within industry and community?

David responded: "In multiple ways. With the availability of simple tools like GreenTag to assist the choices being made to select the best green products for interiors above business as usual products, then an enhanced consciousness can begin to play a vital role how materials in interiors of homes and workplaces can support a safer future environment. Ensuring the health of interiors is a critical component for driving social change because interiors are significantly responsible for how humans actually function and remain healthy. As more and more designers to specifiers to consumers make it their business to know what goes into the making of a product, they are taking responsibility for what a supply chains looks like and consciously selecting materials that are accountable for human, animal, cultural, social and environmental health."

Q2: What is your favourite one-liner that encourages people to implement deeper levels of sustainability into their lives?

David responded: "Choose your products wisely, the future health and security of your family and society and the planet and animals you care about depend on it."
